Silk Ties - Four Things You Should Know

Most men have at least one necktie, as it's important to wear one at some occasions. The necktie is not well known by many men today. The four topics we discuss are the history of the necktie, the production of silk ties, the reasons we have ties, and when they are to be worn.

Even to get enough silk to make a silk tie, you need lots of time and millions of tiny silk cocoons woven by silk worms. Once woven together and reinforced, the silk fabric can then be dyed with the desired color through a natural, organic staining process or through highly advanced chemical coloring.

Men's silk ties are a fashion statement that show a man's fashion panache. The necktie is usually dismissed as a necessary evil present only to satisfy dress codes and traditions.
