Mini kites
In general, these kites are more than a foot in diameter, ideal for younger flyers, they can fly in any wind and easy to fly, a single line attached to the wing means they can be performed with ease. Over the whole range Kite Mini is the cheapest range of kites we stock, which also makes this very birthday for young children. Diamond Kites
The classic wing shape, unchanged for centuries, but now available in a wide range of styles and sizes. Diamond is a kite adapted primarily for children and is very easy to fly kite style, although some consideration should be given to the size of the wing that we sell many different Kite sizes of diamonds and some of the largest kites may not be suitable for small children. Diamond kites generally require that any breezes to fly and can reach an altitude fairly easily, most can also be easily adjusted to the angle of flight to ensure a stable flight in a wide range of wind conditions, even if they are best flown in a moderate wind from a constant direction. Kites Creature
Creature kites are available in a wide range of forms and sizes, and as its name implies, they are a creature that could be something you'd expect to see in the sky like a bird or a butterfly or something you can not expect to see soaring through the air like an octopus or a frog. Some are in the form of diamond others are Delta, but some are purely custom forms to represent the creature. They are 99% and doubled, and therefore easy to fly a kite for pilots beginners and very attractive to the young driver. Usually requiring a moderate wind to fly, they are a kite low drag which means they do not you pull over when you fly, but can easily reach a good height with little effort. Delta Kites (not to be confused with the delta stunt kites)
Delta Kites are named for their wing-shaped delta, a triangle design oblique, very aerodynamic and can fly in gentle breezes. Identical a bird's wings or body aircraft. They are a single line kite and easy to ride, suitable for young pilots they represent a change in kite-shaped diamond standard and are more suitable than the diamond to variable winds, although not suited to high winds, as they tend to "corkscrew" in the air. Box Kites
Another secular design, the box kite, a bird in a manner different from other kites in the air that passes through the kite creating lift rather than pushing against a solid face. They usually look as though they should not fly, but are in fact one of the kites more graceful flight there. Not available in many forms as the kite diamonds, but everyone is beautiful in its own way. They are suitable for children because they produce very little drag, but it may also appeal to adults flyers there, in fact, they are the perfect gift for active grandparents to accompany their grandchildren when they fly their kites. Cascade Kites

Kite flying safety
Location - Choose a location that is free of obstructions such as houses and trees that may pose a danger to the kite and the public, and more importantly not fly your kite anywhere near power lines, sub stations or airports. Make sure the wind conditions are right for your particular kite. Check also that, as the prevention of damage to yourself and your kite, you will fly in an area where we will not cause harm to someone else or a wild animal, a beach is an ideal place, but make sure there are no people around you if you use a large kite or powerful. Also be aware of changing weather conditions, if you think there might be a storm is approaching quickly and thoroughly cease your flight activities, a kite can act as a lightning rod when it is wet, and even if no lightning, winds can damage or excessive destroy your kite, or just pull your hands, which in the case of children can be very upsetting.
Launch - With the wind at your back, take the kite about 50 feet or more downwind and a friend hold it up, pulling the rope. As the kite catches the wind, pull the handle until the line of the kite gains altitude. Smaller kites can be launched from a distance smaller than this. Make sure provide early lines kite at some length after the launch that the wind tends to swirl close to the floor and can quickly bring your kite down. South African born Keith has lived in the south of England for most of his life. After graduating from University with a degree in Business Information Systems Management he decided to start Strawberrysoup; a website design company based in West Sussex and Dorset.
Keith successfully gained entry into the Southampton University Air Squadron and spent over 12 months training to fly. Since then he has continued to follow his interest in flying and has now began his own training in the form of a Private Pilot's Licence.
