G is the latest Pop CD put out by the extremely talented Gerald Levert who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I'm confident Gerald Levert fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one.

This CD literally grabs your attention right out of the gate with Application (I'm Lookin' For A New Love) and doesn't let go until the very last note of the very last song These, which by the way is another great track.

Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known contributors on the project including Randy Bowland and Paul Pesco plus a few other notables as well.

Overall G is a solid release. Quite possibly Gerald Levert's best to date. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this CD.

While this entire CD is outstanding the truly standout tunes are track 3 - Nothn' To Somethin', track 10 - Second Time Around, and track 13 - These.

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Application (I'm Lookin' For A New Love). What a nice track!

Gill $113.11 A gill is an anatomical structure found in many aquatic organisms. It is a respiration organ whose function is the extraction of oxygen from water and the excretion of carbon dioxide. The microscopic structure of a gill is such that it presents a very large surface area to the external environment. Many microscopic aquatic animals, and those which are somewhat larger but inactive, are able to absorb adequate oxygen through the entire surface of their bodies, and thus they often can respire quite adequately without a gill. However, more complex or more active aquatic organisms usually require a gill or gills. Gills usually consist of thin filaments of tissue, branches, or slender tufted processes which have a highly folded surface to increase surface area. A high surface area is crucial to the gas exchange of aquatic organisms as water contains only 1/20 parts dissolved oxygen compared to air. With the exception of some aquatic insects, the filaments and lamellae (folds) contain blood or coelomic fluid, from which gases are exchanged through the thin walls.
