This is something that is repeated week after week after week. Many Americans and Canadians do not like their job. There may be a number of reasons they do not like their jobs. Could be they hate their boss, their coworkers, the work in the job, the low pay. Yes, the low pay.

There have been many studies that would suggest that most people want recognition and appreciation over compensation in their jobs. This is a load of rubbish. Americans are holding on to more debt than ever. Bankruptcies continue to stay at all time high levels. Families are breaking apart in divorce and the number one reason for this divorce, money.

It would be hard to believe that Americans value anything else in their jobs over compensation. When I coach people, the vast majority tell me its money. In fact many of my clients tell me that the only reason they are still in a job they hate is because they cannot afford to take a pay cut if they get another job.

Did you know that more heart attacks happen between the hours of 10:00 PM Sunday night to 10:00 AM Monday morning than any other 12 hour time period? Its true. The anxiety of job dissatisfaction combined with financial woes pushes many people over the edge and their body responds in disease and aches and pains that seem to defy explanation.

The pure and simple fact is, if you change your finances and your job you can change your health and in turn you change your life.
